My client contacted me via my Photo Editing and Retouching services as they had an old photo restored by another photo restoration company but weren’t fully happy with the results. They asked if I could do better, I was confident that I could, especially with bringing back more detail in the face and keeping the resemblance more faithfully to the subject.
They were over the moon with the result and left me a gleaming review on google, you can see the results in the below photo.
I don’t use any AI software or phone apps in my restoration editing. There are apps and software out there now that use AI and can produce amazing results, but they are very inconsistent and in many cases alter the look of the person as they are trained to use parts from other portrait photos of other people to fill in the gaps.
I have developed my own workflow process, algorithms and photoshop plugin to achieve more consistent and detailed results.
