For my March Portrait Photography workshop, I have an amazing opportunity to take photos of Ballet Dancers in the beautiful venue of Cwrt Bleydnn Hotel and Spa
In this event modelling I have highly trained dancers, Ffion and Imogen, both have plenty of experience in dance and performing, love the camera and can pose elegantly and perform many acrobatic moves
This will be an on location shoot for 2-3 hours max, within the Crystal Suite of Cwrt Bleddyn Hotel and Spa and if weather permits also outside in the beautiful grounds. The Crystal suite is a popular choice for Weddings and thus a beautiful room to take photos of ballet dancers. There are pillars to pose against, mirrors covering the walls and a stage area, perfect for action photos.
If you want to make money out of your camera then on location will be where you will make the most money in taking portraits and what you learn from this workshop you can take with you on shooting Weddings, Family portraits, events and so much more.
On the day I will teach you:
- How to connect your camera to external lights
- Best camera settings for portraits and off camera lighting
- A greater understanding of portrait photography
- How to connect with your subject
- Confidently pose your model
- How to compose your photos
- How to use off camera lighting and balance with natural light
You will go home with a much better understanding of portrait photography, how to work with a subject, and a ton of great photos to share on your social media.
To use the lighting, I will have triggers for Nikon and Sony cameras, at the moment I dont have a Canon or Fuji trigger so if your a canon or Fuji user and have a godox trigger please bring that with you. If you dont have access to a godox trigger dont worry we will also be shooting with Rotolight constant lights
I will be taking a limited number of bookings, only TEN places will be available for this event so that I can dedicate fair time to each person attending. The price will be £69 per person.
We’ll meet at Cwrt Bleddyn Hotel and Spa for 10.00am on Sat March 18th 2023.
